Early in January DEQ will be sending out a request for information form to learn more about eligible projects, service areas and grant recipients for the new federally funded program for septic repair, replacement and system evaluations.. They are encouraging people to respond and share their ideas, priorities and organizational needs to make this a successful program. The deadline to respond to the request for information is Feb. 15, 2022. DEQ will also offer two optional virtual information sessions in January to provide information and respond to general interest questions from the public. Be sure to subscribe to the Onsite (Septic) Sewage Systems list by checking the box next to the topic found under Water Quality.
