Medusahead is a devastating invasive grass that can render the forage capacity of pasture and range systems all but extinct. Traditionally much more common on the eastern side of the cascades, Medusahead is established at several locations in Polk County. Given the ease with which this species is spread, we have opted to carry informational material related to its control and management, if it unfortunately becomes established elsewhere in the county!
