Marion-Polk Chapter of the Oregon Small Woodland Association
An Association of Small Woodland Owners Dedicated to the Protection, Management, Use & Enhancement of Oregon’s Forest Resources​​​
  • Educating and informing the owners of forest tracts and the public regarding family forest management issues.
  • Providing a medium for the exchange of ideas about family forestland by landowners, public, agencies, consultants, and timber industry personnel.
  • Serving as a forum to make recommendations for investigating and solving problems, and for improving forest management, harvesting, and marketing.
  • Representing the owners of family forestlands to the general public and before legislative bodies and regulatory agencies.
Luckiamute Watershed Council
  • ​Mission Statement - To engage and assist landowners and communities in the voluntary protection, restoration and enhancement of the Luckiamute and Ash Creek watersheds.
  • Goal - The goal of the Council is to promote broad and informed public participation in the ecologically and economically sound sustainability and improvement of natural resources and environmental quality in the Luckiamute watershed. 
Oregon Department of ForestryContact Jacob for questions or for information on fuel reduction grants. Funding is currently available in the areas of: Liberty, Kings Valley, Otis, and Waldport.
