Upper Rickreall Creek
|
Upper Rickreall Creek is a magical place in Polk County that not many get to see. Join us for a morning of planting native trees and shrubs for phase 2 of a project. We will be working to restore a riparian area disrupted recently by a large woody debris project. We’re working with a small area, so we’re looking for a small group of 5 people max.
We will meet at the Polk SWCD office (580 Main St. Suite A, Dallas, OR 97338) at 9am and carpool to the site. Snacks, water and coffee will be provided. Please bring your own work gloves and dress appropriately for wet and muddy conditions. All volunteers will be required to sign a waiver. We will return to the office for lunch from Spoon N Folks Thai Cuisine, or you can bring your own lunch. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully in our programming. To request accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility, please do so by January 9th and contact Morgan Neil, [email protected], 503-623-9680. |
