confederated tribes of grand ronde's
​native plant nursery

Join the Polk SWCD Conservation Crew and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde's nursery manager, Jeremy Ojua for a day as we prepare plants for the Tribe’s future restoration projects. 

The nursery needs volunteers to help plant iris tenax bulbs in the pollinator hedge row adjacent to the nursery. There are also small, rooted blue elderberry starts that need transplanted into individual containers. There will likely be some cuttings to pot as well.
​ Registration is limited and required.

• Lunch and water will be provided. 
• Please dress appropriately.
• Tools and supplies will be provided. If you have your own work gloves, please bring them (or we have some to borrow).
• Volunteers will be asked to sign waivers for both organizations.
• Directions to the nursery will be emailed to you. If you’d like a ride from the Polk SWCD office in Dallas, we have room for 3 people. Please reach out to Morgan Neil.
• If you’re not able to come, please cancel your volunteer registration so that people on the waitlist can join.
