Description: A beautiful tree, the Pacific Dogwood is native along the western coast. A moderate grower, Pacific Dogwood will reach at least 20’ and often develops multiple stems. The branches become laden with brilliant white flowers in spring and sometimes again in late summer. The creamy-white flowers consist of four petal-like bracts, each 3” long. In the fall, the foliage is a pleasing yellow or red. This excellent shade tree requires rich, well-drained soil and will thrive in partial shade. A little pampering in the first few seasons will be rewarded with lush growth and plenty of blooms.
