Rosa gymnocarpa, 1 gal.


Description: Baldhip rose or dwarf rose grows slowly to 5 ft and produces fragrant pink blossoms at the tips of branches. The fruit, known as hips, turn a bright crimson and are eaten by wildlife. It can spread vigorously via rhizomes. This rose does well in all light conditions and thrives in drier soils and the dry shade under conifers. The thorniness of its branches varies.
