Polk County 4-H Stay-at Home Upcoming Activities, Classes, Competitions, and Workshops!

Greetings Polk County 4-H families! The time has come for a Polk County Stay at Home Youth and 4-H Activities Webpage update! There are lots of new additions so feel free to take a look below or head on over to the Polk County 4H Stay at Home Activity Page.

Check out this free Girls Who Code online club! In Girls Who Code, girls grades 6-12 learn more than coding and work together as a team to solve a real-world program. Girls work together to create web pages, apps, and animations.

There is also a free online Coder Club that all youth are welcome to join. The sign up link is the same.

Instead of having our in person event for 2020, we will be offering a Virtual Horse Academy during the month of November. Attached you will find the event flyer with more details. The educational Zoom sessions are open to 4-H youth ages 13 and up, coaches, volunteers and extension staff. The practice horse judging contest is open to youth over 13 years of age.
Interested participants should register by Oct 12 at http://tiny.utk.edu/HORSEACADEMY
(Note first you will fill out a Qualtrics survey and then it will send you to the website for payment)
