Calling all environmental stewards, wildlife supporters, conservationists, and invested community members!
We invite you to this very important workshop to learn about Emerald Ash Borer.
We invite you to this very important workshop to learn about Emerald Ash Borer.
Do you have Oregon Ash trees on your farm, woodland or in your yard? If so, Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is an invasive insect recently discovered in Oregon that you may want to learn how to identify.
Join us for a free 2-hour workshop where we will learn the biology and impacts of EAB in the Willamette Valley. Knowing how to identify the signs and symptoms of EAB in Oregon Ash trees can help slow the spread of this pest with accurate infestation reports. The first hour will be spent indoors and the second hour will be spent outside on a mock-EAB demonstration trail behind the Dallas Aquatic Center. The path is paved, but there may be some stops off the path. Dress for the weather; we’ll go rain or shine!
Accessibility: For accommodations, please contact Morgan Neil at [email protected]. The meeting room of the Aquatic Center and path behind it are wheelchair accessible.
