Standing Committees are permanent committees charged with working on basic aspects of district work. Standing committees shall meet as needed: once a month or quarterly. Meetings of these committees are public meetings, must be noticed, and may require additional staff attendance to take minutes.
Personnel Committee: Provides oversight of personnel management and personnel policies. Provides reports and recommendations to the board on personnel related issues and updates to policy manual. Ad-Hoc Committees are a temporary committee charged with a specific task or for a specific time period. Ad-Hoc committees usually are disbanded when the assigned task and/or time frames is completed. If theses committees deliberate and make a recommendations to the board (as opposed to doing research and report opinions to the board), then their meetings are public, require notice, and may require additional staff attendance to take minutes.
